LUNO MOON is a lo-fi artist/producer.
Throughout his youth, he spent most of his time recording love songs on a tape recorder that he bought at the local thrift store. In high school, Luno began releasing songs on SoundCloud which unexpectedly went viral. He would regularly perform at school pep rallies, dances and Friday night football games.
In 2016, Luno dropped out of college to further pursue his career in music. While interning at a recording studio in Columbus, Luno worked with artists such as Gucci Mane and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.
Luno landed his first gig in 2017 opening for Atlantic Records artist, Kap G. The performance was met with warm reception, resulting in Taylor Gang rapper JR Donato approaching Luno after his set offering to work with him.
After reinventing himself as a lo-fi artist, Luno released his first LP, Surf, in summer 2019. The lead single “Bye Bye, Baby” premiered on radio station, 99.7 The Blitz. They praised the single as “a handsome display of sun kissed, lo-fi garage-pop.”
